Diamanttek was incorporated in 1993 to provide a Diamond Drilling and Cutting Service to the construction industry and allied trades. From small beginnings with one office and a depot in Bolton, the company has grown steadily and now has two flourishing branch operations in Birmingham and Yorkshire, in addition to the Head Office in Bolton. Contracts undertaken range in value from £250 to over £600,000 and annual turnover for 2006 is budgeted at £3 million.
The range of services offered by the company has expanded with the growth of the company and we now often carry out small projects including soft strip, demolition, brickwork and blockwork, concrete works, screeding and joinery.
This capability enables large clients to use the “one stop shop” service that is often preferable to a multiplicity of small sub-contractors. The management ranges from a qualified Quantity Surveyor and Civil Engineer to Managers who have progressed from the work face with many years experience.
Our client base is substantial and includes most national contractors, numerous consulting engineers, electrical, mechanical and fit-out contractors. The range of sites on which we work is very varied and includes breweries, prisons, factories, schools, shopping centres, airports, motorways, docks and housing.
Contracts will be carried on a Bill of Quantities, Design & Build, Schedule of Rates or cost plus basis and we are always anxious to provide our specialist knowledge at tender stage.
All employees are registered for CSCS and encourages to pass an NVQ. Our CIS 5, Health & Safety Policy and Insurance Details are Available. Health & Safety is administered by an external advisor – Webster Garvey Associates Limited.
