In addition to our drilling, cutting, sawing and ankerbonding work the Diamanttek workforce is skilled in dismantling projects in any sensitive or currently occupied space - such as an office building, shopping centre or hospital - with little to no disruption to the occupants.

Our professional team can first bring their soft strip and light demolition knowledge to the project to break down the infrastructure of the demolition area with a controlled, safety-conscious and ‘green’ approach. Then we can crush and break concrete on interior walls, floors and ceilings with the BROKK while still maintaining perimeter walls, lift shafts and facades, if necessary.
Such controlled demolition is ideal for sensitive buildings, such as Grade I and II listed buildings, or similar refurbishments that aim to be sympathetic to the original architecture but require internal modernisation. It is also suitable for confined spaces adjoining occupied zones.

We have completed such controlled demolition projects in office spaces, many carried out as the rest of the occupied floors went about their business. At Peter House, Manchester we undertook a £500,000 contract for diamond drilling, cutting, demolition, brickwork and floor repairs during the refurbishment of this ten-storey office block.

Such controlled demolition isn’t limited to offices, of course. Our crews worked throughout the night on demolition and builders works, brickwork, concreting and screeding during the £600,000 refurbishment of the Royal Exchange Arcade.
